FROM INSIGHT TO CONVERSATION

From a type to a real conversation

  1. 01

    Notice a familiar reaction

Look at the situations behind the five letters, rather than treating the name as a complete account of who you are.

  2. 02

Ask about the other person’s experience

Choose one recognizable moment from a comparison and listen to why it felt different for each of you.

  3. 03

    Make one small agreement

Pick an action you can both try, such as a brief update or an agreed time to return to a difficult conversation.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you begin

Is the test free?+

Yes. Both tests, results, the type library and type comparisons are free, with no registration.

Is this a clinical psychological test?+

No. SARANG TYPE is an independently designed tool for exploring relationship preferences. It is not a standardized or clinically validated assessment.

Will my answers be stored on a server?+

Scoring happens in your browser. Temporary answers stay on this device, and you can delete them. Sharing does not include individual answers.

Can my type change?+

Your preferences can vary with experience, circumstances and the relationship. Read the examples alongside what you actually feel and do.

What happens if I answer neutrally throughout?+

All five scores are 50. The fixed tie rule produces KATIN, but each dimension is clearly shown as close to balance. The code alone does not show preference strength.

Does the in-depth test guarantee a more accurate result?+

It asks more varied questions about each dimension. It is not a clinically validated assessment, and more questions do not establish diagnostic accuracy.

What does a comparison score mean?+

It summarizes initial coordination assumed by our own rules, including overlapping differences. Read the reasons and practical advice rather than treating the number as a prediction.

Can I use the test while single?+

Yes. Think about previous dating experiences or how you tend to act when you like someone. Skip conclusions that do not fit your experience.
